Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. 

Location: Nashville, TN

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

The Andrew Jackson Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Gardener to join our dedicated horticulture team at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for gardening and an interest in history to grow their skills in a beautiful, meaningful setting.

As a Gardener, you’ll support the care and upkeep of The Hermitage’s historic gardens and grounds. From seasonal planting to pest scouting and routine maintenance, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our gardens thriving and welcoming for thousands of visitors each year.

What you will be doing:

• Perform routine garden maintenance (weeding, mulching, pruning, etc.)
• Monitor and report pest activity
• Assist with seasonal planting and landscape projects

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with gardening and basic garden tools/equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Physically able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet outdoors
